The Isolation Games

The Isolation Games

COVID-19 is putting halt to many of the things we enjoy, but here at QUTcc we don’t believe that means you need to rack the bike just yet. Through the Isolation Games, QUTcc will be bringing all the motivation you need to keep those legs toned and your banter on point.

How it works

  • Each week we’ll set a Weekly Strava Challenge.
  • These challenges will be available through the QUT Cycling Club Facebook Group
  • The fastest times in each category will accumulate points towards the overall.
  • There will be bonus points on offer for KOM and QOM.
  • We’ll be offering further points for those who rack up the most km’s each week.
  • Finally, we will offer additional challenges throughout for bonus points.
  • Essentially what we’re aiming to provide are a range of opportunities for our members to engage in the competition.

Weeks of competition

Week 1: 30 March – 5 April
Week 2: 6 April – 12 April
Week 3: 13 April – 19 April

Categories

This competition is open to all QUTcc members, and we’ll have two categories.

Leader Board

At the end of each week, we will update the leader board which is available for all to see at the following link: qutcycling.com/leaderboard This will be shared on all our social media channels and we’ll have an Instagram story to give you a run down on all the top performances of the week!
